Trayvon Reed won't be allowed to enroll at Maryland after arrest

The bottom line is this teenager allegedly took about $6 worth of food, and panicked when he got caught.
This is not a major crime, or sign of a character flaw.
It is young and dumb, and a great lesson in life could be taught without destroying a young kid.
Don't you think a form of probation and counseling might be a better path. Maryland committed to him as much as he committed to Maryland.
Let him enroll.
