Having seen Patterson Park's image and reputation wax/wane over the years the latest effort to garner attention was positive. Patterson Park is beautiful and today with ecology and 'green' in the forefront people would do well to take a second look at this gem. You need to realize it is not 'disney world' but it's a much needed respite from some of the environs. The thinking behind the 'red' display was right on and was the direct opposite of the 'gold fence' at Mt Vernon. (understood that artistic thinking but it was a miss none the less).......
