The people he stole from will probably never see a dime - but I do hope they confiscated everything he owned to help make restitution

Wow! Is this the same guy who offered free tune ups if you'd bring in a frozen turkey that they'd donate to the food bank?

I agree with all the above. What I'm trying to figure out is why the story refers to a "Suffolk" auto repairman. All the business addresses mentioned are in Hampton, Norfolk, and Virginia Beach, and the case was tried in a Federal Court in Norfolk. No home address is given for this dirtbag -- maybe that's where the Suffolk adjective comes from.

I was affected by this swindler to the Tune of $3500. I am on the list of victims to be compensated and no I don't expect anything from him. By the way, he was not in this alone... he had sotre managers that were very close to Perry and knew his "ways". My vehicle is being towed to an auto donation center within the next few days. Retribution and living in hell for a while will nothing for my wallet. Karma is going to make it all good for all of us who thoroughly believe.

No, your thinking of Strickland auto repair who are legit honest mechanics as far as I know. Glad this guy has to pay dearly, it's jerks like this that give all mechanics a bad name. Another honest outfit is Forrest Park auto repair down by Sears on Mercury Blvd. I repair my own stuff but if I didn't I would go there.

Thanks for clearing that up. I'm glad to hear that the people who I thought were doing such a cool thing weren't simultaneously ripping people off in grand fashion. Even though I haven't needed the tune up, I've dropped off turkeys at the place on Mercury Blvd. to help out in some small fashion.
