You act like this was unexpected. Where have you been over the last four years? It was ALWAYS predicted that more than 5 million additional Americans would enroll in Medicaid under the Affordable Care Act.
It was also expected that the young and the healthy would be more than willing to pay more for that 5 million too.

So what happens if they don't?

Did they expect that?

Obamacare was doomed to fail ever since it's one-party inception and strictly partisan vote. You should have known this too.
It doesn't work that way for one thing - and they didn't even read the darn thing.
Again, you should have known this.
The question is - why didn't you?
Source? Who claims it's doomed to fail?

The good people of Vermont probably saw Gov. Christie kiss Obama's royal butt for simply doing what any president would have done after a devastating storm - especially this president before an election and the perfect opportunity to get some great photo ops.
Vermont is also historically a blue state.
A more accurate number to measure U.S. unemployment is the U-6 rate, which counts total unemployed, all individuals marginally attached to the labor force and total employed part-timers for economic reasons.
That number was a striking 13.9% in March.
So what did the Republican candidate get wrong rounding it up .1%?
It wasn't about the Republican candidate's unemployment number. Steve Lonegan lost because all he did was attack Obama and liberal policies. People are sick and tired of blind rethug attacks with no offer of solutions.

Lonegan supported the shutdown then, when he lost, he blamed it on the shutdown. Typical Republican. Can't see the forest for the trees. Republicans had better rethink their strategy if they expect to win any future elections.

Chris Christie will win reelection because he has embraced the concept of compromise. Others would do well to follow his example.

We listen to Obama say "You didn't build that..." and "I mean, I do think at a certain point you've made enough money" and John Dingell say "...it takes a long time to do the necessary administrative steps that have to be taken to put the legislation together to control the people."
We're tired of the "you can keep your doctor" and "not one thin dime" lies to our faces.
Sonic wants to know if we're listening to "ourselves". That's funny when you think about it. He hasn't been listening to the lies and deceptions for the past five years.

total amount of money spent on emergency care -- including physician and other emergency-room services -- was $47.3 billion. That’s slightly less than 2 percent of the same survey’s $2.4 trillion estimate of total health care expenditures, ok Sonic you got me. It is less than 2%--- so 1 point something.

Senator Obama is the “first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy” and “you cannot go to a 7-Eleven or a Dunkin’ Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent. I’m not joking.”
