Sort of like half of us are now. He still thinks the government is the solution and can do things better than the private sector.
It's why the country is going down the same road of dilapidation and cities going bankrupt.

Why don't you answer the question?
Be specific.
Why do you lefties think a woman that can't stand up to her man after he humiliated her DOZENS OF TIMES would make a good president?
If she is so pathetic that she can't divorce him after what he did, how far do you think Russia could push around a President Hillary?
This time don't try to side-step with a "uh, REPUBLICANS ARE WORSE!" BS.
This is where your logic has no reasoning. Exactly, what does love have to do wit politics? The fact that you feel like you can equate the 2, defines your stupidity!

What has she done to back stab get constituents. What has she done to disqualify her eligibility? What has she done to force you to question her leadership skills? Theseare questions wworth asking, not the nonsense you've presented!

Except Hillary tried to get a similar version of Obamacare passed under her husband's presidency. It was scraped by both Democrats and Republicans for the same reasons the majority of Americans still don't want it now.
Wouldn't it have been nice if Republicans had been allowed some input into such a massive piece of legislation and a final version of health care reform passed on a bipartisan vote?
Otherwise, PDupont's post might have been nicely stated.
In the Senate of the 788 amendments filed, 67 came from Democrats and 721 from Republicans.

A lot can happen between now and 2016 - Obamacare, evidence of abuse of power, changing attitudes towards Hillary, another attack (God forbid), the economy reaching new lows, higher taxes...
Might as well be an eternity before 2016 with so many unknowns.
Don't think abortion is going to be at the top of the list. Unless the liberals declare another invisible war on women.
But it's not unreasonable people who are anti-abortion not wanting their taxes paying for them.
Liberals think it's perfectly reasonable. But, heaven forbid, their taxes have to pay for a voucher system.
You don't see any hypocrisy there? Or do you?
Don't know if anyone's told you but Obama won't be running in 2016.

Pretty sure Republicans are already preparing to fight fire with fire in 2016. And going to the people to give them the right message loud and clear. They figured most people were just smart enough to figure out another four years would be disastrous in 2012.
But they know now a lot of people apparently aren't. Some people need to see a good fight with the best man/party winning.
If Obamacare is the disaster everyone expects it to be, the fight can be won with one hand behind the Republican candidate's back.
The biggest fight will be mano-a-mano with the liberal media. Everyone is now on to them big time.
No more Mr. Nice Guy.
You bring up a good point, one I've been tapping on this week. If Obamacare is as disastrous as the GOP makes it out to be why don't they just let it run its course, they'll be sure to sweep in 2016 if its what they say it is.

That's what I would do if I were them, makes me wonder why they so desperately oppose it now ya know?

The 'federally-funding housing' was left to private entrepreneurs who ignored weak or non-existent government housing guidelines. Put the blame where it belongs on the private entrepreneurs who put greed before civic pride in building quality low-income housing. Anyone wonder why so many Americans don't trust the private sector now?

Well, apparently it doesn't. Snowden got access to private information, and there are hundreds and hundreds of Snowdens in the NSA.
The New York Times reported this happening in April of 2009 after "new changes" were made in the Obama administration.
The NSA originally only had authority to collect international phone and e-mail traffic as it passed through American telecommunications, and the targets of the eavesdropping had to be “reasonably believed” to be outside the United States.
Under the new legislation, the NSA could monitor purely domestic communications of Americans who came under suspicion.
According to the NYT, "The eavesdropping agency notified members of the Congressional intelligence committees that it had encountered operational and legal problems in complying with the new wiretapping law, Congressional officials said."
http://www.nytimes.com/2009/04/16/us/16nsa.ht...
You seem to forget this administration considered a significant number of the populous a national security threat after his first election because Americans who were fed up and demanding accountability took to the streets to protest lawfully and peacefully.
You seem to forget this president set the tone that political enemies need to be "punished".
You seem to forget we have an imposter in the White House.
Do you really have poor reading comprehension Carol or do you just pick out just what seems to prove your point. You seem to have missed this;
"The legal and operational problems surrounding the N.S.A.’s surveillance activities have come under scrutiny from the Obama administration, Congressional intelligence committees and a secret national security court, said the intelligence officials, who spoke only on the condition of anonymity because N.S.A. activities are classified. Classified government briefings have been held in recent weeks in response to a brewing controversy that some officials worry could damage the credibility of legitimate intelligence-gathering efforts."
Got that Carol? The Obama administration has put the NSA under increased scrutiny.
Also;
"Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. went to the national security court to seek a renewal of the surveillance program only after new safeguards were put in place."
What new legislation are you talking about Carol? You do realize that any such legislation would have to pass the GOP controlled House. Don't you really know anything about the legislative process?
"Populous Carol? For your information that word is an adjective so your sentence makes no sense at all. I think the word you're looking for is "populace" Since you claim that you were some kind of hot shot teacher you should know that.
You Tea Bag idiots weren't demonstrating for accountability liar, you were just pissed off that a man of color with a funny sounding name got elected.
Three years ago when we went to DC to get my son settled into his first year in college the hotel we stayed at was full of tea baggers who came down to here Glenn Beck spout his paranoid insanity. I picked up enough from conversations in the elevator, breakfast room and lobby to figure that out pretty quick.
No you racist nitwit, Barack Obama is not an imposter, he's the duly elected president of the United States. You however are an imposter every time you claim to be a Christian. I don't think you and your ilk are much as Americans either. You'd sell this country out to the corporate plutocrats as long as they keep validating your ignorance, and bigotry.

As usual her head is up her azz__she closes her eyes and imagines Cabrini Green, a CHA disaster which was built in Chicago's North side in stages during the 1940's through the 1960's and then demolished beginning in the 1990's through present iirc.

Most large American cities had similar projects but none on the scale of Cabrini Green.

To add some perspective, Obama was born in Hawaii in 1961 and was first elected to a political office in 1997.

Okay Carol, let's hear what conservative David Frum a former speech writer for George W. Bush had to say on the matter;
"Republicans originally thought that Fox worked for us and now we're discovering we work for Fox. And this balance here has been completely reversed. The thing that sustains a strong Fox network is the thing that undermines a strong Republican party."

Except Pelosi. She's blinking uncontrollably and keeps yelling, "Surprise!"
If you're a cancer patient undergoing long term chemotherapy, the insurance company can't cut off your treatment due to an arbitrary lifetime cap. SURPRISE!
If you were born with a birth defect, survived childhood cancer or has been a diabetic since childhood you can still get health insurance as an adult. SURPRISE!
If your insurance company doesn't spend 80% of the money you send them on actual healthcare you get a refund. SURPRISE!
If you have a son or daughter in college or just starting out then they're still covered under your family policy. SURPRISE!
If you're a senior stuck in the Medicare part D donut hole the government will send you money to help with you medication expenses. SURPRISE!
