Excuses excuses. Only in excessive, extremeness.

Like inflation. If they CAPPED inflation on ALL tangible goods, so that the wage service sectors would balance out better..that would NOT happen.

So let's see..looking backards a bit...NOPE, NOT believing that BS.

Why don't you hire some people at the higher rate? With health insurance, stock options and retirement?
Let's cut taxes for rich people, that always creates jobs!
Who's the dumbass regarding economics?
Put more money in poor people's pocket and they spend every bit of it..it all goes back into the economy.
Give more money to Romney and it goes to the Cayman Islands.

Buy your own. Just demand that the MARKETS/Co-ops are affordable to EVERYONE-not just some!

And buy your own or pay taxes and contribute to your own retirement (and do it REALISTICALLY-MOST people retire on far less than what they are used to "earning" over lifetimes!) and stock options-you Wall Street sounding dupe.

See? Liberals are the "smart" in economics!!!
Also... Unemployment is the BEST job creator...
Welfare is a great job creator, too!!!
I don't think raising it will create more jobs, but it wouldn't hurt it in raising it to "catch up" to THIRTY years of EXTREME tangiable goods inflation!

Prove it, based upon all the times the minimum wage has been raised.
Didn't hurt businesses or hiring one bit, you moron.
More money in poor people's paychecks means more spending in our economy, which drives business. We are a consumer driven economy, idiotbox.
Just because you repeat bullsh*t for years like the GOP does not make it true.

That is why corporations need CAPPED on allowable reductions.

FACT.

The contribution rate to the backbone of this nation of the same has DECLINED a full 7-8 percent over 30 years. As has the ratio of people actually SUPPORTING the current tax system (from 15 working to 1 drawing down to TWO working for every one drawing)-rather than robbinghoodieTIC STEALING from it and DRAINING it dry.

What's predictable is the lame GOP response. Same old same old, just (poorly) delivered by a Latin token instead of an Indian one.

the biggest deterent to job growth and the rebounding of the economy rest squarely with the OIL industry. they affect every segment of society. if i had my way, i'd nationalize the industry and immediately lower gas prices so goods and services can be moved quicker to the market place....not only that, cheaper gas prices encourages ppl. to spend more and move around more. and not only that, it creates more jobs at once.

Bobby Jindal the ONE who saved Louisiana from the Oil Spill?

See? You hate Hispanic, Indians and other minorities!!!

If you are a Liberal then you also hate blacks, specially the ones that are not Liberals easy to fool!!!

With his data-rich calls for the creation of sand booms and other coastal defense measures, and his very visible efforts to pressure the federal government to take more aggressive action, Jindal has come to embody the response to the oil spill. There's something decidedly unconservative about Jindal's hands-on approach

"David Neumark, an economist at the University of California at Irvine, has surveyed more than 100 academic papers on the matter and said the consensus remains that raising the minimum wage hurts employment, particularly among teenagers and restaurant workers.

"The evidence is overwhelming that the minimum wage has reduced jobs among the people they are trying to help," he said."
