You're the idiot, fringe zombie. You're even further left than the ACLU. Didn't you get the memo, libtard?
"On October 19, 2011, the ACLU submitted a Freedom of Information Act request seeking information about the targeted killings of three U.S. citizens in Yemen: Anwar al-Awlaki; his 16-year-old son, Abdulrahman al-Awlaki; and Samir Khan."

Idiots like you made a big deal out of waterboardng, but killing American citizens ..
A N D -
--> their 16 year old kids <--
you defend.
- Bush questionbly stetches the law by pouring water on "known terrorists" face "to get information to save life" = Democrats in an uproar and politisizng the war.
- Obama absolutely stetches the law by becoming judge, jury and EXECUTIONER, also kills 16 year old boy and another guy = Democrats defending Obama the clown.
You are a POS, idiot.
Okay, let's go over the salient facts one more time.
Anwar al-Awlaki and Samir Khan were engaged in hostile acts against the United States aiding and abetting Al Qaeda and actively recruiting terrorists. In taking these actions they essentially renounced their citizenship.
Capturing them and bringing them to trial was not a viable option due to where they ensconced themselves.
Allowing them to continue these hostile actions was also not a viable option.
Awlaki's son was travelling with a group of Al Qaeda operatives when he was killed and there's no evidence that he was intentionally targeted . When you travel with a bad crowd sometimes bad things happen to you.
There's never been any evidence that water boarding ever produced useful intelligence. But more importantly you're creating a false equivalency between someone already in custody and no longer a danger and someone actively avoiding capture and still a menace. A police officer can and in fact has the duty to use deadly force against a suspect resisting arrest and deemed to be a danger to the public. Once a suspect is in custody the rules change and the individual has certain rights under the Constitution.

John Brennan and the Drone Consensus

In the run-up to yesterday’s Senate confirmation hearings for would-be CIA director John Brennan, everyone was waiting for an epic clash over the morality of drones. Brennan, having spent the past four years as Obama’s chief counterterrorism adviser, has been at the center of the administration’s targeted killing program—which seemed to make his nomination the perfect moment for a showdown between Congress and the White House on the subject. The potential for drama was only heightened with the recent leak of a white paper outlining the Obama administration’s legal rationale for targeting American citizens.

And the hearing did get off to an unruly start. Code Pink protesters repeatedly disrupted the proceedings until they were ejected from the room. One woman held up a placard that read “drones fly, children die,” while others called Brennan an “assassin.” There were also plenty of heated exchanges between Brennan and the senators: Democrats bored into him over the drone program’s lack of transparency, and Republicans hammered him with questions about classified leaks and his alleged involvement in the Bush administration’s harsh interrogation program.

Yet despite the testy exchanges and the theatrical protests, it’s worth noting that not a single senator said he or she opposed targeted killings. It was perhaps a recognition that drones are here to stay—a permanent part of America’s hi-tech 21st-century arsenal. Indeed, instead of a dramatic moral showdown, the hearing showcased evidence that Congress and the Obama administration could be moving toward pragmatic compromises which would impose more accountability on, but not eliminate, the drone program.

Fox News' Gretchen Carlson seemed confused on Thursday as to why people are talking so much about the Obama administration's drone policies.

The drone program has dominated political conversation since NBC News released a Justice Department paper which said that the government has the right to kill American citizens even if they are not actively plotting attacks against the United States. The memo's release came just as John Brennan, the administration's nominee for CIA chief, is set to face questions about his role in crafting the drone policy.

But Carlson questioned what the big deal was on Thursday's "Fox and Friends."

"I'm just wondering why this is suddenly becoming a topic of discussion!" she said. "They killed [American citizen Anwar] al-Awlaki, what, two years from now?... I don't remember lawmakers making a humungous stink about this. Some libertarians did. President Obama's fighting the war on terror! Are you against killing terrorists?"

A couple of minutes later, Carlson again tried to figure out what all the fuss was about, apart from people who saw hypocrisy in Obama's embrace of drones and criticism of Bush-era terrorism policies.

"I guess I'm just trying to figure out the exact criticism other than the hypocrisy," she said. "Do we really have criticism about the president taking out members of al-Qaeda?"

After another exchange, she was back. "Are the Democrats upset because innocent civilians are being killed in these drone strikes, or are they upset because the alleged terrorists are being killed?"

Due process, just due process for Americans," co-host Steve Doocy said.

"I don't agree with that," Carlson said.

Mr. President, I haven’t agreed with all of your decisions but of course I haven’t agreed with all of your predecessors decisions. I think you’ve done a hell of a job with what you have been dealt and how you have managed it. I shed a tear the night you were initially elected President in 2008. I never thought that day would occur. A black man elected president in the U.S. in my lifetime.

Let me guess lowest voter turn out in years lol. Its just about race for your people and that makes you a racist. I know plenty of white people who voted for obama due to his policy and plans. You ask average black person that voted for obama about his policy and they like huh ???? What you talk about??? Are they going to be disenfranchised next time when theres no black guy to vote for?

You disrespect the office of the POTUS/Presidency and Commander in Chief. You call him Kenyan, mongroid, halfrican, muslim, and FBHO when in essence you are to address him as simply, President. The same as you did to President George W. Bush and all those in the highest ranking position of our land before him. Just as I always have. You question his birth certificate, his educational and professional accomplishments, and his judeo-christian beliefs. You make disparaging remarks about his dead parents. You never questioned the fact that his former opponent, the honorable Senator John McCain, was not born in the CONUS or that Bush had a C average in his undergrad. Electoral Candidates children (Romney) state they want to punch the president in the face during debates with no formal repercussions. No one even questioned the fact that the son just made a criminal threat toward the President. You call his wife a Wookie. Off the record, I love your new bangs, Mrs. Obama. A woman whose professional and educational accomplishments are second to none when compared to recent First wives. You call his supporters, whether black, brown, yellow, or white, leeches, FSA, welfare recipients, and ni$&er lovers.

Coming to America Under Obama:

CARACAS, Venezuela (AP)— Venezuela's government announced Friday that it is devaluing the country's currency, a long-anticipated change expected to push up prices in the heavily import-reliant economy.

Officials said the fixed exchange rate is changing from 4.30 bolivars to the dollar to 6.30 bolivars to the dollar.

The devaluation had been widely expected by analysts in recent months, though experts had been unsure about whether the government would act while President Hugo Chavez remained out of sight in Cuba recovering from cancer surgery.

It was the first devaluation to be announced by Chavez's government since 2010, and it pushed up the price of the dollar against the bolivar by 46.5 percent.

By boosting the bolivar value of Venezuela's dollar-denominated oil sales, the change is expected to help ease a difficult budget outlook for the government, which has turned increasingly to borrowing to meet its spending obligations.

But analysts said the move would not be sufficient to end the government's budget woes or balance the exchange rate with an overvalued currency. Economists predicted higher inflation and a likely continuation of shortages of some staple foods, such as cornmeal, chicken and sugar.
