When I was still in the classroom in the mid 1990s, the progressive agenda was very much alive and well.<quoted text>Pretty sure we already discussed my association with the Central Florida area public schools Carol. Trust you?__LMAO.
The most liberal teachers were saying things like "if it involves common sense, you won't find it in the public school system" and "if you care, you won't last."
Even back then, the good teachers were leaving by the droves because of progressive politics tying their hands to teach effectively in the classroom.
The apathatic teachers and the ones who didn't care were the most happy because the unions kept giving them money to deal with it.
