And so we see that if drugs don't ruin your life directly, then the drug warriors themselves will do it. A 20-something year old is being sent to jail for over 9 years because he uses a certain drug and maybe sells it to other users to finance his own habit.

This man is the victim here, and the REAL criminals are the lawmakers who hypocritically prohibit some drugs while many allowing equally or more dangerous drugs they themselves prefer.

Rather than ruining the lives of heroin users through persecution, the lawmakers should treat them like human beings.

The drugs should be legally regulated so they are sold in certified doseages and purities by licensed retailers to licensed adult consumers. This would take the $hundreds of billions$ annual traffic out of the hands of international organized crime cartels and local street retailers, better protecting public health and safety. This would ensure that consumers have the most education and access to counseling or treatment as needed, better protecting public health and safety. This would ensure that consumers do not suffer accidental overdoses and poisonings through adulterated drugs, better protecting public health and safety. This would ensure that those drug users who do not harm the persons or property of others would not be treated like criminals and have their lives and careers ruined in order to be imprisoned at taxpayer expense. This would allow police and Justice system resources to be concentated on real crime, better protecting public health and safety.

This arrest is a travesty of justice. The charges should be dropped. This man should be set free. The prohibition laws should be repealed and replaced with genuine regulation.

Leagalized heroin = Methadone.

Dope addicts can stay legally high for years at taxpayers expense while they collect their disability checks.

Im pretty sure they messed something up there, theres no way theres 14.4 grams in 33 small bags of dope... its probably 1.4 grams, thats more realistic. This just proves heroin hits towns like Tolland and people need to take notice.

As someone who grew up with and was very close to Chas (up until a couple years ago), I'm sorry to say that he more than deserves this punishment. This is like his 4th or 5th time getting trouble. Like everyone else, he's got some serious sin in his life, and he needs forgiveness that only Jesus can offer him. He knows it too.

Proverbs 26:11 - As a dog returns to its vomit,so a fool repeats his folly.

Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 10:9 - That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

they weigh all the bags which are double bagged and then probably in a larger bag on top of that. knowing him, i will tell you he should be in jail. this is like his 4th chance. he just rats on everyone and gets off scott free while he sells dope to high school kids. he had just gotten out of jail less than a year ago, clean. went back because he though he was above the law. i agree, prohibition causes the violence issue. it makes it profitable for people like chas. he just got out of the hospital for od'ing on that bad batch that went around the beat. he belongs in jail not because of the use of narcotics, but because he has no heart. he just had a kid 6 months ago too.

You're like a criminal mastermind Chas, after the 5yrs or whatever behind this, you come home & manage to stay free a whole year. You're really good at selling drugs, you suck at not getting caught. What's this going to be counting the recent police chase? Four bids in a decade?

He aint get hallucinogen charges. He got charged w poss narcotics. All charges fall under 21a-277 CT Statute which he got charged and convicted with. I know dis dude and he def got ery day he had on probation, if dude was snitchin he wud have caught a break but he got erry day of the 9 yrs plus a year he had left hangin. If he snitched than his lawyer was wack and Ive used his Atty Barry before and hes legit his pops a state rep got alot of pull in court. Anyways anytime someone get popped ppl think they snitch if they get a deal.
Bottom line is if u say someone snithcin get the paperwork and prove it cuz there always b paperwork period. If there aint papers i aint buyin it, sounds good but thats truth. Dont accuse ppl a sh*t unless u got proof and if u gonna pop off stop hidin behind fake scrn name and say it to his face. Cuz i i know hand down he proly smack u if u said suttin to him so u to hide behind ur PC thats tough.
