If this could happen to Josh, it could certainly happen to my teenage son, or for that matter anyones child.
My son knew Josh from school and talked highly of him.
My Heart and many Prayers go out to his family.

Juveniles or not they should Post and Blast their names out to the public.

I agree immensly with others that at 16 you are old enough to take responsibility for your actions. I know 10 year olds who know more than I do because of the way things are going in this crazy world. I have been in Dundalk my whole life and I am afraid to let my kids walk to the quarry even during the day. They get mad at me all the time but I think they are starting to understand I just love them too much to let them go yet. I am not ready to let my kids be atarget for some empty headed shell of aperson take them away from the people who cant live without them. Five families have been changed forever and why because someone was bored or no one taught them any better Well thats bull because its time to grow up and I guess you wont get bored in jail. I will always pray for this family because I could not imaagine for asecond what I would do in their situation. A senseless act that shattered lives in the blink of an eye.

What a tradgedy especially for Josh's grandmother.
Another sad part of this whole thing is that people living outside of Dundalk will think this is normal behavior from our teens. We have a beautiful community rich in resources. Most of all friendly people. I have lived here all of my life and most likely will stay here. If you look at violent crimes, we are low on the crime scale as compared to Owings Mills and Woodlawn and YES parts of Towson. I pray for Josh's family. I think as for the defendents maybe this could have been avoided if their parents taught them right from wrong. Children need to be taugth limits early on.

They Should Have There Names Put Out Loud.
Because No Kid or Anyone At That, Should Deserve To Die That Way. im A Teenager Myself. and my best friend was friends with him and so many of my friends knew him. and most the kids from my school know who the suspects are. they should not have their names hidden, they murdered a boy, they should be revealed for what they are.
i saw josh's body that night. i was ridin in my cousins car and i walked up the road to see what happened. me and my cousin saw his body, and saw his body being covered. this was a gruesome murder, and even tho the kids are probably my age, they should be charged as adults, and face what they have done. the murder of josh gibson was completely unnecessary, and as i said earlier, no person ever deserves to die like that, especially at a young age like that.he didnt even get to have kids, make it to the real world, get a taste of freedom, nothing. He will never be able to now, because three people took his life, for more than likely, just the rush. this young boy will never be able to find out what its like to be a man, to watch the birth of his kids and see them grow up, or to even know who his wife would have been. The suspects should be shouted out to the public because they murdered a boy, and if it were 3 adults that murdered josh, their names would be announced, what happened to everyone being equal? dont u think josh wants people to know what happened and who did it?

5 families are destroyed becuase of this selfish act.

I can't believe someone would do something like this to someone so young. The thing I find most disturbing is that they would of killed anyone walking down that street even if they were a child. People like this deserve to rot in jail not matter what the age, even the 16 year old girl that hid the gun. I grew up with Josh and I really can't believe that he is gone. Josh was such a fun, out going guy and for someone to take his life! WTF! I don't even understand why someone would be that stupid and cold hearted to take the life of someone who had so much ahead of them.Nobody deserves to be murdered and i think those who murder deserve the worst punishment...

unfortunately i graduated high school with one of the suspects that were charged with the murder. no one deserves to go through what that boy went through before he died. my prayers go out to each and every one of his family members. RIP Josh!

Things like this are insane. They kill someone just because they were bored?? how is that fair! What pisses me off the most about it is how everyone is acting like those three boys did nothing wrong. Like josh got what he deserved? No thats not the case they killed someone. I went to School with Billy Ferandes this year! Never would i have thought that he would shoot someone never!! but he did! and the other 2 boys may not have pulled that damn trigger but they knew about it! they watched it! they were part of it! i hope all of them get life in prison! i hope to god none of them are released.

I would like to thank each and everyone for the cards, prayers, comments and words of encouragement for my family during what initally was a diffucult time. This has now become an even more difficult time due to the now that we have learned that this disgusting act was committed for no apparent reason. Just like the community members feel scared for their own families, their worries are lightened some now that 3 killers are off the streets tonight. It is my intention to pursue justice for my nephew to the very end no matter what it entails. Life without parole is not good enough for these three as far as my family and I are concerned. We will never be able to share those valuable moments, or future hopes and desires with Joshua. The families of those three boys, (who by the way have not been shown their faces to world) can still speak, see and visit with them as much as they feel necessary. My family won't have that with Joshua. Unfortunately for those three individuals they have killed the wrong child. My family will see that justice prevails in case. I can promise the world that.. Not only did they suck the life out of my nephew, they sucked the life out of many other people and they should have no choice but to pay... and not at the taxpayers expense.

your right.. they deserve more than life in prison... they DESERVE to be beat and shot in the same manner as josh...

they should be grateful to be able to keep there own lives... life in prison would be a gift... a gift that they are not worthy of!

sorry your "boyz" should be beat shot and killed.... along with you.

I can't believe the mentality of some of our future generation. I want to have some hope but, if this is the way they think God Help Us All. A family and many close to them will be suffering forever and all she has to say is they were drunk and made a mistake. Well God forbid one day she will have and lose a child and will she be so understanding or stupid then? Where are these parents at while their kids are out getting smoked up and driving. Did mom pay for the car and insurance for the boyz because maybe if they were working to pay for it themselves they would not have had soo much free time. There is only a blink of an eye before these teens will be considered adults and they have no hope for the future and no respect. Well all I have to say dingbat is it is too bad that real human beings aren't aloud to take out the trash in our own neighborhoods. What a horrible disrectful thing for you to do. Post such a ridiculous comment for the family to see. What a horrible, lonely life you must have. I hope they all die a miserable death if they have no remorse. Think about it before you think you can handle your liquor because it never ends good!

The mentality of some of our future generation? Excuse me, but this has been going on for nearly 4000 years, since the time of the Egyptian Pharoahs started.

What we really need to do is give these young people something to do in their lives, that would keep them from being that bored. For me, it was sex when I was their age: never felt the need to go out and kill someone because I was too busy getting some from girls who I knew for that thought to go through my head.

He was like a brother to me. me and him hanged out allot, at the mall, the query, and drove around. We always joked about who would be the first to go, but in reallity i never thought it would be him or that it would come true. i wish that i could go back in time and tell him that he was going to be shot, because if i could i fix this, and it wouldn't be him dead, it would probaly be me. we knew each other by heart, if he was walking down the street and seen me he would ask me if i wanted to chill with him. i am sorry that he has left this world, but i do know that he didn't leave here without leaving behind his legend. Josh aka Reaper was a legend to my eyes and my friends, and homies will say that he was a legend. a man that could take on ppl and win most of his fight without help. he could make a girl stop crying within seconds. if one of his homies were jumped he would go after the person that jumped his homie. this man will never be forgotten, and i wish that i could make ppl realize that this man didn't just die for nothing, he died trying to keep his life. he fought to keep his life, but as soon as he got shot, he couldn't fight no more. why do ppl have to be cowards, fight without weapons, just because you are getting your ass kicked doesn't mean that you pull out a gun or knife and kill that person. I am a juggalo, and i am proud to be named one. and if anyone has a problem with me being one that i will show you what happens when you have problems with my family, because juggalos ain't a gang they are family. my homies are my second family to me. josh was a brother, a friend, a homie, a juggalo, and a person that had my back.

why don't you go fuck off. you are talking about a juggalo family member, and i aint' just a juggalo. i am a brother of reaper, not by blood, but by friend. you don't know shit about our young life styles. are you in a fucking gang. because i am in one. i lose some of my friends everynight. but you know what go join a gang, and see what it feels like losing a friend or a family member due to a gang fight.
juggalos will never die alone.
we will carry on, carrying our hatchetmans.
each and every one of us.
we will meet again in the dark carnival.
