I'm dissapointed to hear that the O's will probably be in Fort Lauderdale next year. I had hoped to go to spring training next year. But until the major league and minor league teams are in the same location, I'm not going.

Screw the FAA. All they want is more money. The Orioles should go where there is decent training facility. Ft. Lauderdale is so worn down that it does need to be replace.
And Roch, PLEASE don't mention that song again. It makes me want to puke.

The Fort Lauderdale fiasco has the Angelos name written all over it. For at least the last fifteen years, the Orioles have had the worst spring training arrangement in the major leagues. The FAA continues to jerk the Baltimore organization around, and all the Angelos family is thinking about is staying in Fort Lauderdale? The Orioles have no choice but to be proactive and move the spring operations to either Sarasota (preferable) or Vero Beach. Unfortunately Peter & his two sons have proven to be absolutely incapable of ever being proactive.
