You don't make any sense. As mind numbingly enigmatic as Grumpy is this is not anywhere close to what he was saying. He wasn't trying to determine when viability occurs nor was he even saying that AC were trying to determine when viability occurs. He was saying AC "wish" that viability would occur at this point. The fact is the viability is NOT a subjective term. It's legal definition as it pertains to the abortion issue has already been established by the SC. It is what is is. "When" viability occurs however will always be a determination that falls in the hands of MD's.<quoted text>Why does anyone assume they should be the one to determine 'viability' for anyone else? It's a very subjective term.
No one knows what you are even talking about here.
Eliminate ? Hardly. Abortion will never be eliminated. I seek only legal protection for the unborn. And I am not naive enough to believe that doing so would ever eliminate abortion. The same way laws against murder do not and will not ever eliminate IT.If you want to 'eliminate' abortion, it's 'vulnerability' which needs to be dealt with. And hey - that's subjective too.
That's lovely. And most born people don't intentionally kill each other either. The only way to eliminate abortion, is to eliminate human nature. Not going to happen for at least another couple of thousand years, and the 'law' isn't going to be the reason for it. Unless, of course, we refer to the Law of Nature.
When it becomes even more beneficial to the species for women to gestate willingly than not
(and MOST WOMEN GESTATE, KEEP AND LOVINGLY RAISE our children NOW, by the way....)
And I'm sorry you came outta hibernation only to bestow upon us the indecipherable babble above....THEN we will evolve to only get pregnant when we WANT to.
You don't get to be the one who makes it so.
Sorry about your luck...but not very.
but not very.
