The links I provided were: http://www.embryology.ch/anglais/fplacenta/am... AND
http://www.actabiomedica.it/data/2004/supp_1_... .
Where are the links from you proving me wrong, you ignorant buffoon? Like Katie's, they're non-existant.
Big L, you call this "non-existant"?!

You aren't alone in having experienced this amazing grace. But unless one experiences it, it's mere folly.
The apostle Paul, a Roman formerly known as Saul, went out of his way to persecute Christians until he, too, had the same experience you and I and millions of others have had over the past 2000 years. He talked about the battle with the flesh at the same time he was spreading the gospel to the early churches. As you know, many books in the New Testament are his letters to these churches.
The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. Jesus himself said that. As believers, we know we are in the flesh but walk by faith. It's difficult for a nonbeliever to understand this. Just as it was for us at one time. We forgive others in order to be forgiven. And love those who persecute us. That's about all we can do.
I, too, have been led by the flesh and had to be humbled and apologize on these forums. Then again, I'm quite outspoken to a fault at times.
But thank you for sharing your powerful testimony.
But in DeGall's reply #283581 he says Jesus despises many people. Why didn't Jesus despise you?

Our casual acceptance of abortion could be our downfall.
The fall of Rome was, in part, due to moral decay.
Instead of educating society about the realities of abortion and making abortion as taboo as smoking or obesity, we choose to ignore mass killings of potential human beings who are as much alive in the womb as you or me.
A fetus is a "potential" human being??? Naughty-naughty.

I don't have to keep telling myself that you didn't prove anything, because you haven't. You didn't prove I said artificial wombs was what was ridiculous in STO's hypothertical, and you haven't proven amniotic fluid has an anesthetic.
I prove you wrong on both, with facts.
ROFLMAO And you're calling OTHERS "obessed" Lynne? LOLOLOL!!!

AGAIN for the stupid girl - you ignoring what was already posted is not a lack of proof on our part, its simply denial on YOURS.
You keep telling yourself I didn't, bonehead, but it's all in posts for anyone to see. My proof of my claims, and your lack of proof of yours.

You are right, that ai had No excuse, only let my "flesh " override my "spirit ".
I hope you have a good Valintines day, even though I do not expect you to like me at all, but even though you come across as a pretty tough cookie, you still have feelings and are human, so again I am truly sorry for any hurtful or mean spirited comments I've made toward you.
I will try and not make any in the future, becouse when I do,my Father, just makes me apologize.:)
I forget many times, that I was NOT called to be a lawyer, or judge, but just a witness.
A very wise man told me early on in my recovery: "You have two eye, two ears and one mouth. Play the odds.". Its served me very well over the last 20+ years.

I dont dislike you, I find you ridiculous in many of your views and how you choose to "witness", which only serves to alienate your message as you preach AT people, and ignore everything that's being said TO you.

I thank you for extending the olive branch, and accept it with some apprehension, as I dont believe you're really interested in the topic OR the people here, only in forwarding your religious agenda. I extended it to you early on in an attempt to get you to actually LISTEN to what people were saying to you, and you tossed it away as your fevor to "witness" overcame your interst in others views and beliefs.

Feces, may I call you feces? When I had my transformation from God, over 12 years ago, and was lead to read the bible, there came a time when I had to decide if I was going to believe, some, most, or all of my bible was inspired by God. I decided if only one word in my bible was wrong, then I would question every word. When it speaks of the moon, it speaks of the sun. It refers to the sun as him, and moon as her. Almost as the two are married, and one needs the other, but even if my bible said that "the moon gives off its own light, without any help from the sun or any other source, then I would stand on that fact, regaurdless of what science or any other source says. Plus the bible MUST be rightly divided, line upon line, precept upon precept. The bible is not one book, but many books, written over many many years, by many different men. My conversion was kinda like that of pauls, with many exceptions.
He truly believed what he believed in, and was struck down and showed the truth, which was the exact opposite of what he believed. I was woken up by this same God, and showed the truth, which was the exact opposite of what I believed.
I was a sinner on my way to Hell
I am now a sinner on my way to Heaven.
The difference is Jesus Christ.
There is no evidence to support the use of Hel/hell in your religion. It is what you would call a "pagan" concept. Are you a pagan now?

I couldn't care less about the rest of your post which, like all the others, is full of your religious delusions.

Which means, according to you, that it is already viable.
<quoted text>
To achieve what ? 50% or viability ? Or both ? Was it not viable at 49%? And if not then why was medical assistance applied ? You said a preemie receiving medical assistance was already viable ?
Do you even know what you're talking about ?
<quoted text>
I remember it like it was yesterday. You said that if a preemie is receiving medical assistance that means it's already been deemed viable.
Yet when someone said that a preemie "could REACH viability with medical assistance" you said there was nothing wrong with that statement.
So explain how a preemie can REACH viability with medical assistance when you've already agreed that if it's receiving medical assistance, it already IS viable ?
You've never answered......or did you forget ?
<quoted text>
Tom Tom was absolutely right. I'm tearing you apart. You've been reduced to a stammering fool with "yeah yeah yeah" responses and juvenile jabs that would embarrass a 12 year old.
You're tearing me apart? LMFAO!! Like I said; you couldn't rip apart a virgin without fudging your own dick (in my previous post I used a ____(blank) in place of dick, assuming you could make the connection. Given that's not the case, I'm compelled to spell it out for you).

Doc, you're acute case of senility is compounded by a belief that just because you say something, then it's the absolute truth. You couldn't muster one iota of an argument outside of Topix. Which begs the question; are you having a cybernetic, or in the flesh, affair with sassy? Maybe you two meet in your son's basement to "clean" it up.

My position has not wavered at all. Viability is reached when the fetus has a 50% ability to make the O2/CO2 exchange in its lungs, which means it has a 50% chance of life outside the womb. When I referred to the hypothetical scenario of a preemie born with 49% ability to make the gas exchange, and the administration of medical assistance to help it reach 50%(which, although not necessary, per se validates Bitner's statement), I also qualified my statement by stating a fact which you seem all too enthusiastic to ignore: that there isn't a single Pediatrician, or ObGyn out there that can make a viability assessment of 50% to a 100% degree of medical accuracy.

So, assuming there was a way to say, to a 100% degree of medical accuracy that the fetus is EXACTLY 49% able to make the O2/CO2 exchange, thus has a 49% chance of life outside the womb, and it's born at that precise and definitive moment in time, there isn't a single physician out there who WILL NOT err on the side of caution and place the preemie on medical assistance, on the slim chance his/her calculations are wrong, and of course, to avoid a medmal action. If you find one, please introduce him/her to me; will you?

"You said that if a preemie is receiving medical assistance that means it's already been deemed viable."

You remember I said this like it was yesterday? Good; since you're so hell bent on posting proof, and demanding proof be posted; why don't you find my post that expressly states that? Of course you won't; because it does not exist.

Sounds to me the remaining part of your brain that was operating at 50% capacity was blown away by super storm Sandy. Or maybe it rotted in your son's basement.

How terrible.

Go suck a mean hard one Doc. Then, go consult with the sock puppet in your "law firm" who's been schooling you and then get back to me.

I'll respond if I feel like doing so. Or, I may just allow you to feed your own illusion and have the last word here on Topix (as if that's going to mean more than the turd I just flushed).

Happy Valentines ya ben elef.

Why does anyone think that they have the right?
We never get to heaven because we do not want God.
It requires personal responsibility and avoiding creating a life or a selfless act by giving it up for adoption.

Most progressive secularists poo-poo both. Unfortunately.

I have observed three abortions in person. The vast majority of abortions are performed in early pregnancy. Nothing is torn apart. And saline is no longer used, even for LTAs. As for your abortion porn, I've seen that nonsense. Watching that BS makes you feel righteous and sanctimonious, and turned-on.

:)- as I read what you wrote, I could only agree with you.
I'm 6'2" tall 243lbs, with alot of muscle "no body builder type ",but big guy, with a tendency to be a azz, and a jerk, and very capable to hurt someone, but also have the ability to cry in my car, when I see a single mom trying to fill out an application at mcdonalds, while taking care of her two or three kids,or when I see a pic of a child fighting cancer.

You're exactly right, when in my flesh I only care about ME, but in my spirit I love you and all.

When I was saved, it was like recieving the greatest gift ever, and I want all others to have this gift, BUT I also realize I wanted nothing to do with any god gift for years, and I sometimes try to sell my God, like a used car salesman.

We may not ever agree on issues, but I do thank you for accepting anything from me, and I WILL try and listen more, while thinking more before I write back.

I think many programs drug related and others are good for anyone to go through, if they are an addict or not.

I fully understand what it is like to wake up everyday, and know if my day was going to be good or not based on how many pills I had. I do have a heart for all people, and will be able to show it, if I can get "me " to shut up long enough.
So, thanks!

Makes this life a whole lot more bearable knowing there's a much better one after this one's over.

Still not sure how to process all near death experiences, but there's definitely a thin line between being here and being somewhere else once you die.

Scientific studies have been conducted for the past three decades because they occur so frequently and without any scientific explanation and are being taken quite seriously in the field of science as an unexplained phenomenon.

To believers, it's simply a no brainer.
