Once again, you prove how stupid you are with posts like this. "Viking" men did not rule their family in the same way you and your crazy religion do. Women played a vital role and were highly respected. It's unfortunate that you lie about other cultures constantly in an effort to exalt your opinion.
It's been a while since Bright Sun was here. We missed your stupidity.
From what I have read, Viking women had a pretty mundane life ing for the children, running the house and farming.

I am a big guy, and my mother has been dead for 20 years, so it would be hard for me to still be on her tit, but sto has a right to say whatever he wishes. I do have a feeling he would not be so free to speak this way, if we were face to face, but I also say things on an open forum that I wouldn't say face to face. Wea all do.

You guys can call me ignorant and believe the earth came from jello, but it will not help you when you leave this world.

Lord Lord sto said abortion was ok, and even in your word.
Lord it is not my fault, since I was taught evolution.

People in the world, with a bone in their nose who have never seen a bible are without excuse, so how much more or you?

Plus you can go on believing all you want about those "peaceable muslims",but most of the pro choice folks on this forum wouldn't last a day under sharia law./

Yet one MORE thing you're completely ignorant about, but hey, never let it be said you let your ignorance stop you from saying s
tupid shit.
Of the Unbelievers: Sura 4:89 “seize them and slay them wherever you find them: and in any case take no friends or helpers from their ranks.”

Slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them captives and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush.(Sura 9:5)

4:101 “When ye travel through the earth, there is no blame on you if ye shorten your prayers, for fear the Unbelievers May attack you: For the Unbelievers are unto you open enemies.” 4:102 “For the Unbelievers, Allah has prepared a humiliating punishment.”

Aside from your ignorance about Muslims, glad you know (or recently looked up) that Jesus is a prophet in the Qur'an.
I thought it interesting they also believe He was born of a virgin, named Miriam (Mary), and performed miracles.
I find it interesting that you believe islam is a peaceful religion.
Although I'm not shocked.
You would be fine in a muslim country though sto, becouse you don't even tell people here that you're a christian.
My geuss, from what I've seen, is you would convert to muslim for a free T shirt.

What peaceful passages you quote from that book that rules Islam. I just love the "slay them wherever you find them" part. No wonder Lilbunnypoopoo defends them, for now. Western men, as selfish as they are, treat women a whole lot better then muslim men do.

Looks like the Qur'an is ignorant about Jesus. He was not a prophet.

With God all things are possible.
Before the flood, and before we lost the canopy between us and the sun, men lived hundreds of years. Animals were much larger then as well as men.
If you care to explore any of that Dr. KENT Hovind has many vids about evolution /creation.
"Gtown," please tell me that you're being sarcastic or facetious here.
I try to refrain from ridiculing anyone's religious beliefs because I know many people take their faith very seriously and that some tend to view criticism of it as an attack on them personally but--Kent Hovind?!?
Seriously?
That guy's got barely any credibility amongst the Creationist crowd. His credentials in the scientific community add up to less than zero. His lectures are so nonsensical that they'd be funny if it weren't for the fact that some people actually believe them.

Good grief, and we wonder why our country continues to lag behind in the areas of math and science...

Okay, Ink. Here's the point: There is no secular evidence that Jesus Christ extisted. Ya with me? Even so, Islam and Christianity agree that He did exist and agree on a couple of key points about Him -- born of a virgin and performed miracles.

As far as I know, He is the only person in the Qur'an who is said to be born of a virgin.

A sentence taken out of context. Here is the entire passage...

"Fight in the cause of God those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for God loves not transgressors. And slay them wherever you catch them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out; for tumult and oppression are worse than slaughter... But if they cease, God is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful... If they cease, let there be no hostility except to those who practice oppression" (2:190-193).

The non-bigotted go to the source. The bigotted go to sites that will only confirm their bigotry.

Like the bible is full of peaceful passages? Where ripping open pregnant women's bellies is ordered by God? Yeah, okay.

Man kills his wife because he thinks she committed adultery is different than a dad killing his teen because he thinks she had premarital sex, how?

Then why don't you explain Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani's plight to us. What was his oppressive crime?

Actually, Katie, that is a prophecy. Basically, God says, "if you don't stop doing X, this is what is going to happen to you."

It wouldn't be clear from reading that passage, alone. Ya gotta study the goings on over a few chapters/books.

Just so ya know.

Well, there is much I don't agree with him on, but there is also much I do.

It is according to what sec or denomination one comes from.

That's right it was a prophesy of the cruelties that would be committed by the Assyrians on the Samarians. Not an uncommon happening in those days.
