He's a bigger moron than you are. Nobody's 1st Amendment rights are being violated you ass. Nobody's asking them to buy contraception, they're being REQUIRED to offer insurance that isn't limited.

They WILL lose this. Already have in fact. Its time to these fools to suck it up and realise they can't force their faiths on others anymore.

I see both Denny's and Papa Johns are backing down from their ridiculous claims and asinine comments about cutting hours and jobs because of the health care act.

"Two clauses in the First Amendment guarantee freedom of religion. The establishment clause prohibits the government from passing legislation to establish an official religion or preferring one religion over another. It enforces the "separation of church and state." Some governmental activity related to religion has been declared constitutional by the Supreme Court. For example, providing bus transportation for parochial school students and the enforcement of "blue laws" is not prohibited. The free exercise clause prohibits the government, in most instances, from interfering with a person's practice of their religion."

How come no fundies were bitching and moaning about these? Oh yeah, because they went your way. In New England we lived under the Blue Laws for decades. They affected ALL New England citizens whether they were Christians or not.
You hypocrite.
Thats completely different, we are forced pay for someones immoral behavior and behavior that goes against God's natural law. The HHS amendment forces govt to interfere with someone's religion.

We haven't lost it yet. YOU are forcing your immoral behavior on us, prove your not. Required means we are forced or pay fines or jail,we would rather be in jail than hell. In the long run, you lost foo, evil never wins.

No, they need to supply insurance; what the employee and their doctor determine to be medically desirable is not the company's purview.

Piss off; there's nothing sadder than a christer zombie who tries to decide who is allowed to call themself a member of ny denomination.

I was baptized and never excommunicated; that alone means the church considers me a member.

No, it doesn't. They can follow the trade laws or get fined for non-compliance. Their employees do not have to suffer because the owner has issues.

God's natural law would by definition deny treatment of cancer, cerebral palsy, cleft palate, or any other "natural" condition. We're not going to go along wih that.

It's not different at all. We all had to live with religion based blue laws whether we were Christians or not, you are not being forced to engage in any act you see as immoral. The state of Connecticut just this year repealed the last blue law which made it unlawful for package stores to be open on Sunday. This is 2012 and that last religious based blue law was just repealed. During the years we lived with religious based blue laws where were the fundies screaming against government interference? Nowhere...they were happily silent. The hypocrisy is crystal clear.

What exactly is "immoral" about birth control? Explain? Birth control can help prevent abortions. Where exactly did God say "no birth control"? The RCC says it, but I never heard a God say it.

I doubt she can. In the past when knutter was asked to explain her position. Either she spent weeks going around the topic. Or when she is pinned down long enough. It is generally some fool rant that has no real meaning. Beyond the fact she proves that for some, brain washing really does work rather too well.

I guess you're ok with sending your money to defend child molesting, fake holy men instead.

The amendment doesn't prevent a person from adhering to their religion, but you're too busy playing the victim to understand anything beyond your narrow minded POV.

I love this "God's natural law" bit. Let me know when you have evidence to back up what you believe is "God's natural law". Until then, continue to pay your taxes.

It's the same ol' song from the fundies; lying about their religion (hell) and judging everyone as immoral.
