The cause of planetary warming or cooling is not known (has not been scientifically proven). Stating that human activity is the sole cause is incredibly unscientific.

However, previous polar scientific research has revealed the fact that our planet's polar ice caps have melted and refrozen many times during the life of our planet.

What we have going on now is a partnership between con artists, nation states seeking economic advantages, businesses lobbies seeking riches, political parties seeking political power, and the scientific community seeking funding by supporting research that has wealthy and politically influential commerical and political backers, each "player" in this drama looking to position themselves to benefit from the billions and billions of tax dollars planned to be exploited to "solve" the changes in temperature.

Yawn - just one more scam being promoted by com men to enrich themselves - and by political operatives to position themselves for gaining greater political power.

This having been said, it would be a wise thing to reduce greenhouse gases - maybe we should stop the rapid over development that is removing so many trees that can convert CO2 into Oxygen? Odd, you just don’t hear too much support for that, do you? That’s because too many wealthy individuals make their money from the development of green spaces. Too many governments make their money from taxing “growth”. Developers are like plagues of locus – they consume the trees and other green spaces without regard to the adverse impact to the ability of the green foliage they destroy to keep the planets supply of Oxygen in balance with the planets’ supply of CO2.

Nuclear power is one way to avoid burning fossils fuels for heat and vehicular fuel. The nuclear power can create electricity to power vehicles. Yet the same “environmentalists” that denounce the burning of fossil fuels rally to prevent the use of nuclear power.

Electricity generated by wind farms is blocked by “Environmentalists” as well. Can’t have those pesky and unsightly power lines now can we? The poor birds might fly into the blades of wind turbines, right?

The politicians are not going to agree on anything until it is too late. There are too many players and too many vested interested in maintaining the status quo. The best solution to me seems to be to put a mirror in space to block some of the heat.

Most of these climate specialists are weather people who aren't sure if is raining or a cow is flying over. They still have not explained sunspots, volcanic eruptions, and the fact that weather is cyclical. But then we would not like to bore people with the facts and have an authority like al (boo hoo) gore lose his chance at stardom(what a jerk).

It amazes me... The people on here that claim there is no human climate change and spew insults at everyone else... These are the first people that will whine to their local officials and file lawsuits if a factory or power plant tries to open anywhere near their house. It is naive to think that factories and power plants pouring tons of smoke and chemicals into the air will not have an impact on people's health and the environment.

Of course the climate is changing. It is in a constant state of flux. Global warming occurs just as global cooling occurs. There have been "ice ages" in the past, so it only makes sense that there will also be "hot ages". Now prove without a doubt that man has anything to do with it.

SPOT ON!! There has been NO conclusive proof that man has contributed anything to global warming. Follow the money trail and see who is benefitting from this BS science the most, and you will see the whole reason behind this junk.(Al Gore call your office.)
