Is there any news? I have been traveling and no access to any news. My only contact with Family is his cousin. I only slept two hours last night. I am obsessed. Who killed Jerome? And wher are they is all I really want to know. The sooner this is over, the better. Was it Donna? Please respond.

I was so hurt to hear of Jerome. He was truely a good person. I haven't seen him in years, but from time to time he would stop by during the holidays to visit ole high school boyz(Heritage High). I wish I knew the whole story instead of the rumors. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

My sympathy goes out to Butch, Ma Janice, Vita, Durray, and Tiara. I'm not sure what happened but at this point I'm really not concerned for the fact that's not going to bring Jerome back. I grew up with the Wood family and spent alot of time at there house. Those are the times that I want to remember. I will miss Jerome dearly but he will always be in my heart. Love to the Wood family...

For the Family and the World :

I remember the very day that Jerome informed us that he was returning to be with that Goddamned Bitch. He actually got angry at us because all of us were telling him not to. It's the ONLY time I ever saw him get angry.

He felt like he had to do it for the kids. We were telling him that we'd all put some money together and get a lawyer and get the kids. He said that he would try it this way first. Well, he tried it that way. We knew it wouldn't work out, but we didn't think he would end up dead.

Now how are the kid,s doing? Their mom shot their dad? how does that help? Well, the kids should know that their dad died trying to be a good dad. Everybody has issues, but Jerome loved those kids more than anything in the whole wide world. I knew this to be the truth on a VERY VERY personal level, through gut level conversations that we had in a men's spiritual platform. All of creation came after the children and it wasn't lip service either. Everybody at the church knew about it. Well, all the men anyway.

I guess I shouldn't jump to conclusions and place all kinds of blame until I know the facts. It's hard not to. Something like this brings out a lot of rage and I'm not the only one. I honestly think there's some people gone up to Baltimore from North Carolina. Friends from 15 years ago.

I wouldn't want to be the one that shot Jerome. Hell is coming to pay. Absolute hell is coming to pay. But even knowing that offers little satisfaction. It only hurts the kids further and Jerome is still gone. But at least Justice will be served. I don't even know if the wife was present. Nobody down here knows.(Lenoir, NC)

A few of his friends/cousins wanted to let us know that he had been killed, but didn't want to give us the details and we wanted to respect that by not pushing for ANY details.

Well, some Christmas this is gone be, eh?
