Just last year wife and self (we're middle aged...we're no spring chickens!# decided to secure our MC License as a means to reduce dependency on use of auto #do our part to reduce traffic#, parking #take less space#, reduction in fuel consumption #doing our part#. We invested our time and effort to secure our MC licenses and use our MC's as often as we can. It has made a difference in our gas consumption by ~ 60%...Okay, so we got that addressed...considering we still have to pay for insurance and registration we're still Okay but now we pay for parking #which was free)... what we save on gas gets taken away by parking...come on! Give us a incentive / break...we make the investment to do what's right and then take it away...
There's a Cash for Clunkers stimulus how come no "Breaks for Bikes!" Maybe those parking lots…public and/or private should be publicized / acknowleged with signs..."Brakes for Bikes!"
