"The 2012 Ford Focus Electric is a pretty good electric car that's generated remarkably little excitement even within Ford, let alone the public. Honestly, did you even know Ford sells a battery-powered Focus?"
Sounds a lot like GMs EV1. It may well be that it ends up the same way, in a crusher in some recycling yard. If the original EV1 was reconstituted today with the lithium ion battery packs available now, how would it stack up to today's electric vehicles? Since the original design was designed for an 800 pound lead acid battery pack, how far could the EV1 go with an equivalent sized lithium ion pack now?
