Yet another CVT critic. It's odd that so many of us who actually own the Impreza find the CVT superior to an automatic.

A 30 to 40 percent improvement in mpg, with ample and just a tad less power and acceleration than the previous Impreza, is more than a slight improvement. Add to that a better and roomier interior, plus improved handling and visibility, and the Impreza has been greatly upgraded.
