I have a Honda Element and this is EXACTLY why. It's perfect for dogs. It has NO carpeting so dog hair and dirt can be sweeped out, vacuumed or whipped down. The seats are very easy to clean...not to mention a huge crate can fit in the back when the seats are put to the side.
I also don't worry about the car getting dirty when I take her for swims or she rolls in the mud because its so easy to clean.
Also, because the seats fold to the side she doesn't need to sit on them and she has plenty of room in the back lay down or stand up...
