The C30 was bar-none the biggest surprise for me at this year's auto show. I was amazed at how stylish it is in person and walked away wanting one in my driveway today. I wish Volvo had spent a few more bucks on the dash/center stack; like the S40, it was a little institutional save the floating panel. I really hope this car can do in the States what the others you mentioned couldn't achieve.
