What a horribly outdated and incorrect article! The authoer should be flogged and have his keyboard removed.

First of all, they say that the 2009 is the replacement fo the ION. Wrong, the Astra came out in 2008. Edmunds failed to do a report on the 2008 model, click on the link, nothing there. Instead they write as if the 2009 is available, it hasnt even been produced yet!

Second of all, the pricing is very outdated. As of December 2008, GM has been cutting the price on Astras which now start as low as $15,000. not the price they stated which is for the deluxe XR 3 door model.

Third, this is the Only report I have seen on the Astra where they complained about "body roll" how in the heck did they accomplish body roll in an Astra XR? This car simply does not have body roll, the drive is similar to the Mini Cooper S. I know , I own an Astra.

Again, incorrect information, this article ststs seem like they were plagarized straight from Motortrends 2008 write up, bu this one is very negative towards the Astra and outdated.
