I have a 2003 VW Passat (1.8T) and there is some water ingress at the floor of ONLY the rear driver's side.
Whenever it rains slightly heavy (regardless of during driving or parked on the street), the floor gets wet. I did took it to the car shop and clean the draining holes below the battery, but that doesn't help.
Anyone has similar problem and solutions?

In the middle of the same thing with 2004 Passat (RHD). Water coming in everywhere except front passenger side (where the computer for the electrics is, I'm told). My driver's side door pillar beside wndscreen) was soaking a few days ago - also back seat on the left - terrible smell of damp in the car now. I'm been looking at other forums and seen advice on the drain holes below battery and brake servo, also on sunroof drains - I haven't got the tools yet, but will definitely take out the battery and unblock there if necessary. However, I don't know how to get at the sunroof drains. Any Suggestions??
