I've got an 07 Avalon..love it. May be the best car I've ever owned.. my only, and this would be my only complaint, the bell / chime that reminds you that you're not wearing your seat belt lasts an awfully long time. In most cars, the bell rings 5 or 6 times.. in the avalon it's 59 times.. yep, thats what I said, 59. There is a way to shut it off, and I've done that, but now Im afraid I may have turned off the drivers side airbag... think I'll go back and activate the bells on the seat belt warning, and just start wearing the seatbelt. sounds like a plan!!

yes by pushing the pb on the ctrl box under the seat you can disable or enable the seat belt warning. Best regards.

Have a good day, you will have up to 5x as many problems in that little shitty Hyundai. And Kias and Hyundais suck. I would never own one.

I would rather have a Ford Five-Hundred, but if you ask me to pick a winner form that list, maybe the VW...

^ You obviously know little about the auto industry.

Hyundai's have WAY better reliability ratings than VW (in addition, better than Nissan and Mazda as well).

Can't go wrong w/ any of the 3 (tho, VW's reliability is still an issue), but the best bet will be the rear-drive V6/V8 Hyundai Genesis which is coming out sometime this summer (from high 20's to mid 30's).

None of the above, I'll take a Dodge Charger or Honda Accord,(Accord for the reliability and Charger for the style and passion).

Everyone I know with a Hyundai hates it, I know a guy with a 2003 Tiburon, and he has replaced the transmission, at least 2 times for a 2003!!! Already paint chipping, a 5-year old car, that already looks and preforms like a 15-year old car. Hyundais also depreciate very quickly in value, it's no surprise why people consider them junk and don't buy them, maybe the are cheap but you get what you pay for, I don't like any of whats in their lineup, but Hyundais are good for someone on a buget perhaps, but why does Hyundai even bother comparing it's vehicles to Range Rovers, Mercedes, Audis, Lexus, Cadillacs, Lincolns, Chryslers etc?? Pretty sad when you consider the resale value on Hyundais SUCK, compared to the resale of the other vehicles to compare them to...I was really laughing when I saw a commerical trying to compare a Hyundai Santa Fe with a Rover, LOL...When will they learn??

Lets not also forget Toyota's sinking reliability and Volkswagens have a very bad eclectronic history.
