my daughter stole my 2002 jetta 1.8T and didn't realize it leaked water. She took it to the beach and on the way home it overheated but she kept driving.Needless to say it stalled on the freway and wouldn't start. It sounds as though its turning over but looking into the oil fill the cam doesn't turn and the oil smells badly burnt. I'm sure this means this engine is frozen solid and will never run again unless rebuilt, but let me know what you think. If I'm correct I'm going to sell every part piece by piece untill its gone. The trans only has about 24,000 miles on it and everything else is in great shape. contact tcrnic@att.net for parts
