OK, Toyota, why is the Sienna minivan not included? Same engine, controls, etc as Camry and Avalon. Don't be cheap.

Toyota is junk!!!!! The camry has the most complaints by far of any other automobile!!
I would be soooo proud to be selling this car with all these problems knowing of problems and still selling it.
I would rather stay POOR and have nothing than to know of these problems and act like i do not!!! How do these poor salesmen sleep at night????? Well I guess they get use to the guilt and move on.
Or in some cases like at down east toyota in brewer maine, You be rude to the customer after they buy the car, and tell them like kevin kelly told me, he did not hold a gun to my head to buy the camry or to trade it back in, I guess thats the way kevin deals with his guilt???

As opposed to someone who knows nothing? Other than, of course, how to get screwed by a car dealer. How about telling us that story again!

We just purchased a 2006 Avalon on New Year's Eve 2009 and I questioned the
dealer about this recall when we purchased. We were lead to believe this had all
been taken care of because of floor mats and now all of this has been coming back
out in the news about the California crash at Christmas etc.

I will not ride in our car or drive it.

I am curious what the Toyota executives are driving at this time?

What California crash on Christmas? I thought that Avalon crash on Dec 26th was in Texas. Maybe I am wrong!

Then don't drive it. But I wouldn't drive at all because you could blow a tire, you could slip on ice and crash, you could fall asleep and crash, you could get hit by a car crossing the center line, you could....well if you are afraid of something happening, then don't leave your house. Well, unless you are afraid of fires, which can happen, or maybe furnaces failing and causing carbon monoxide problems....

As for execs...they get newer cars all the time, so the older worn pedals probably don't affect them.

Why is anyone surprised at this? The Orientals have already given us sticky buns and sticky rice.
