Forget about a union. It will never happen. The people there can't even agree on a start time, let alone something of more importance.

This was a company record not an industry one. GM built over 3 million Ford over 2.7 million and Chrysler over 2 million in North America in 2013.

You have to sell the cars you make and that's where Toyota is superior. Toyota sold the most cars worldwide in 2013. 7.41 million to GM's 7.25 million. Sounds like GM needs to make less and lay off some union workers.

GM only exists because of the federal government. Give it time....they will go bankrupt again. I'm happy with my wages and so are most team members. My job is secure. What union do you work for? You seem to be an expert about unions.

they sure will. just like every other company, business and country on earth will experience failure if they are on the planet long enough. the smart people will prosper while the business does. the stupid ones will applaud taking pay cuts while the union members of the SAME company receive their largest bonuses in history. you really are a complete moron. u are so caught up in being right that common sense and truth totally eludes you.

Toyota is the number on automaker Worldwide and are also 85 percent unionized worldwide. As far as your comment about sounds like GM needs to make less and layoff, are you kidding or just confused? They sold 7.25 million vehicles. So any company who sells less than Toyota has to layoff? GM has hired 14000 new workers since 2009 as they recover from the recession and before someone goes chiming in about bailouts they might want to look into how the Japanese government helps fund Toyota and also minipulates their currency to benefit manufacturing in Japan. I work for Toyota and hope they continue to do well as I hope the whole industry continues to do well.

You said GM made more cars than Toyota but sold less. They are over producing. That's not efficient. They over produce to avoid cuts. Simple economics. So basically you are a non union, union hack. Practice what you preach. Go work for GM and join the union. You might have a little credibility then. While your at it, have GM pay back the 27 billion they owe the taxpayers and bond holders that got screwed.

So you know the currency comparison of every state in the US Toyota is in versus the currency value in every foreign country Toyota is in? I don't think so. I bet even if they make more their cost of living offsets the wage. Just a thought Mr. Wrong.

What a dumbass. How could I be a scab? I work at a non union production plant just like every other Toyota production worker in the US. You are the scab. Working a non union job at Toyota. If you were a real man you would go work at the Big 3 in the UAW. You're an effing wannabe union thug. How pathetic. You do the same thing I do and somehow I'm the stupid one. Makes no sense unless you're the "right" moron. What a fucktard.
