This whole hearing is nothing but political posturing. This president, goverment motors, and their UAW allies will do anything to make a point against the best automaker in the world. I shall never own another goverment vehicle! All automakers make mistakes and have to have recalls. Goverment Motors more than any.

I just wanted to say a couple of things. First of all, I do drive a toyota (2008 toyota tundra) my wife also drives a toyota (2010 corolla) my backup (gas saver) in the name of OVER priced gas! is a toyota (2000 corolla). And my kids ride in those vehicles EVERY day. I won't hesitate or think twice about putting them in any of these cars. People want to criticize toyota because of the recalls but what auto maker hasn't had recalls? As a matter of fact in 2004 GM rose above all rest in recalls they had 25 million vehicles recalled and who was the first one with thier hands out wanting OUR tax money (THE BAILOUT)? When every other auto maker was laying off workers and looking for free money ..... toyota stood strong and will continue to do so.

My 93 buick gets 30mpg.It dosent break down.Toyota has had the most recalls since 2000.Where the hell did you get 25 million gm vehicles in 2004.Thats bull shit if i ever heard it.You don't work for a bank or ins co. do you? They should take lessons from GM & chrysler on how to pay back a gov loan. Those mothers all pocket the trillions of taxpayers money. Those greedy fuckers dont even want to pay back thier loans. But GM & chrysler are.If we had job protection like japan has our companies would'nt be in the mess they are.I remenber back in the 70s japan was dumping thier products on our soil & boy were those cars junk. They would rust sitting in the sun.But we have so many anti american fuckers like you .Remember this forum is about toyota not GM.Gm didnt build those cars thats been killing people.FACT!
