Gas prices are fine.

You crack hose need to get jobs and stop depending on the state for aid.

If the economy is so bad, why are all the poor ghetto women fat as the day is long?

Why does every ghetto momma have cable TV internet, cellphones and a hoopty to begin with?

Gas prices are fine and paying 4bucks for a gallon of gas beats walking 20 miles you lazy fools.

Soda is more expensive than gasoline, yet you all have the luxuary of dumping it down your throats.

Plus you cigarette smokers are the biggest joke crying over gas prices, may you never have another dollar to get to the store to buy another pack.

Nobody's drilling anywhere, and if they did there's supposedly no extra refining capacity.

Get ready for the next depression, this economy doesn't stand a snowball's chance.

The economy has went to heck in a handbasket. I don't know about the depression, but I do feel that we are heading somewhere that no one in my generation has ever experienced.

I know we will hear that this country pay 18 bucks a gallon, etc. But you know that, WE in the US have never had these prices before, and for us, it's just terrible. It has impacted everything. Really a sad state of affairs.

I like the welfare comment!! You so have a point! Although about the cigarettes...well i know alot of people cry about it but I am a smoker and i don't cry! I don't have food stamps or any state aid... my and my husband work so you know- we can get our cigarettes and gas! By the way I have to fill up 3 times a week. I drive 30 miles one way to take my middle child who is disabled to school. The ones that cry are the ones that need to get a life. this is life and there is no sense crying over it! and if you can't afford anything then i would say get a new job!! Double digit pay isn't that bad! It's been good to me!

Gina, your post was refreshing. I am encouraged by your post that there are still folks in america that aren't lazy and pathetic.

Around these parts the welfare crowd sit around drinking soda, smoking cigarettes and btchin g about gas prices while popping out 5 kids before they are 23.

bless you.

Well DUH !!! The reason I got rid of my truck 2 years ago was because of the rising gas prices. My 06 Nissan Sentra gets 34 MPG while my wife's 06 Toyota Prius Hybrid gets 53 MPG. My GMC pickup got about 19 MPG, big improvement huh?
I thought those rice burners used rice instead of gas. Sounds like you got ripped off...

you crack me up! sounds like you know me a little.. j/k! i had 3 kids before i was 23! But I tell you what.. they don't hurt for anything! I sit around and smoke and drink my soda and go out to dinner when i feel like it. We do what we want when we want! No we aren't well off but i know how to handle our money. You know if we stop the welfare trend and make people get off their a$$ and work the b*tching about gas would probably stop! i know someone of welfare and she's so stupid! i'm actually trying to get custody of her kids because the way they live is just disgusting. and all she can think about is why she shouldn't work. she will lose food stamps and medicade. well she is about to lose them anyway because she is abusing them!!

Gas prices are high because now there are half as many oil refineries as there were in the 50's. Therefore Supply has gone down. Meanwhile the demand for gas has stayed the same. Causing gas prices to go up. Which will cause more ppl to get into the oil corporation to make there share of 4 dollars a gallon. While causing supply to go up, which will then result in the price per gallon coming down.
Also, if the state and government would stop taxing gas about 50-80 cents a gallon. Prices would come way down... but this will never happen!
