Truck engine's misfire is common during idle

DEAR DOCTOR: Last month I purchased a 2007 Chevy Tahoe. It just developed what seems to be an engine miss at idle.

I have a 2002 Toyota Rav4 with about 95000 miles on it. My idle became rough and it sits at about 500 while in PARK. No SES light, car runs fine also. Any ideas? Thank you!

i have a 02 taco and it idles at the same. Theres nothing wrong with it..just saving gas.

I have a 02 Ford, Ranger Ext cab, 4WD, 4L sohc engine with 87,000 miles. Engine mis-fires badly at idle for longer than 5 seconds, but engine run fine when driving at all speeds. Changed plug, wires, gas filter and still same problem.
