I just brought a 2008 Rav4 Limited with the AUX Adapter connections in the console. The manual says that by inserting a mini plug in the adapter slot that I can listen to my iPod. What is a "mini plug" and how or what kind of plug should I use to play my iPod.

Mini plug is a 1/8" (3.5mm) rca plug that is found on ipod's and such (eg. look at the headphone connector for an ipod)

When I connect my ipod to my 2008 Rav4 with the mini plug, turn on the radio and hit the auxiliary button, nothing happens. What am I missing?
