My husband is a tech at SC Toyota and many times a customer will come in thinking they know what they are talking about and they are clueless (including engineers). If all of you trash talkers think they are sub-par, then do the work yourselves.
I can and I do. Worked on cars for years before Engineering school. Nice that you back your husband though.

And now the reporting has started about the Prius problems. Believe it or not, this one is a brake pedal problem. Seems that the pedal doesn't always go down far enough to fully apply the brakes. Toyota is in a world of hurt and it's only getting worse for them.
Actually, it's a software issue. Nothing to do with the brake pedal or how far it does or does not go down.

Yeah, a software issue that they initially blamed on an American supplier and American workers who had nothing to do with the software. How about the corrosion on Tacomas? Was that software, too? It certainly wasn't American steel.

Apparently you're confused. The Prius brake issue was never blamed on an American supplier or workers. It was always considered to be a software issue. It was discovered in Japan and initially fixed on the assembly line and the cars already sold will be recalled to fix the problem. And what about the corrosion on Tacoma frames? What does that have to do with the Prius brake issue? Just for your information, the Tacoma frames were made by the Dana Corporation, in California.

Not confused. That was sarcasm.

When they blamed Americans for their crimes, they were still denying the Prius had an issue.

There's more than one "issue." There's one arrogant company, which is exploiting Americans, and which is responsible for these "issues:" Toyota.

They think you are Gaijin! Short their stock!!!
