Toyota Refuses Repair

Our 2009 Tundra experienced a braking problem. After picking up the vehicle the dealership claimed I reported the accelerator malfunctioned, I made it very clear the problem happened while at a full stop and the brake pedal was depressed. They installed the recall repair and told me to pick-up the vehicle. I complained and spoke with the dealership garage manager. With-out even looking at the truck he determined the problem was the driveshaft and I got a report saying it was repaired and once again I was to pick-up the vehicle. Again I complained that the problem I experienced was not being addressed. Toyota after finding out I filed a complaint with the State Attorney Generals office began to investigate me and demanded to know "what I thoiught I was going to accomplish" and refused to repair the Tundra. We were at a stalemate for 40 days before I had another garage pick it up and look at it. The rear braking componants were malfunctioning and in need of repair. I am not a wealthy person and am making payments for the repair. I really don't know what to do. I'm tired of Toyota's drama and deceit and really don't want to be a part of it. I could use some advice as to where to turn next. do yourself a favor, don't buy Toyoya!

When you took your truck to the second garage, was that a Toyota dealer, or an independant shop? Did they confirm that your truck's rear brakes were defective? Did that shop fix the problem they found?
Do you have a copy of the original repair order from the Toyota shop and does it specifically state what your complaint was?

I wouldn't worry about it, you probably couldn't spell your name correctly on the sales invoice.
