American sedans are great. Purchased a Chevy Malibu almost one year ago and remain very impressed.

Malibu's an excellent car. Only problem with the article you site is:
First 5 months of 2011, Toyota sold 243969 sedans,(not including Prius) Honda 222259 and Hyundai 179679. Hyundai's not dominating yet.

I think the article is referring to May auto sales in a certain segment. Hyundai really took the cake. Most car people know sales are tracked by month. Toyota and Honda have been showing decreases every month while Hyundai is growing.

Just saw the monthlies for compacts....you're correct, the Elantra came in 3rd. Big jump over last year.
