Today's automobiles run to 100k miles before first required maintenance. They offer new technology and safety features galore. If you can afford it, and want it -- go for it.

Or buy American brands GM or Ford, or of American decent brand Chrysler and feed the coffers of greedy corporate executives who have taken taxpayer dollars to run their companies back into the ground--even if they appear to be doing well for now (the new GM is the old GM, and Mullaly won't be around forever).
