Does anyone know if I a 1992 4 cyl engine can be swapped with a 1994 6 cyl engine?

No, I don't think it can. I had to replace one with only the same exact one. I have a 1994 Camry.

I have two '94 Camrys. One 4 and 6 cyl. The 6 cyl and it's tranny are shot but the rest of the car is in excellent condition. I called the Toyota dealer and they said that it is possible to swap the 6 for a 4 cylinder but it would take a long time. I don't know how difficult it would be. I know that the '94 6 cylinder will fit in the '92 Camry and vise versa.

yes you can...all camrys and lexus es series can swap between I4 and V6
but by model
gen 2 87-91, es250
gen 3 91-96, es300
gen 4 97-2002, es300
gen 5 2003-06, es330
gen 6 07-
I swap a '91 v6 to a I4, you have replace the entire engine compartment from the motor mounts on. You have to use wire harness and computer that comes with the swap motor. It took me three weeks and i had both models in front of me. good luck,
ps on earlier camry models gen 2 and 3, the celica is interchangeable.
