People, you are so silly, there is no pictures or specification for 2008 model yet. Where do you get this stupid information from? 1500cc busa, or 1400cc ??

i heard its going to be a 1600cc!

Hey guy, do your homework the specs have been released. They just havent given out the cosmetics or the braking improvements among other things, just go to suzukihayabusa.org The motor will be a 1350-1400cc. I hope everyone knows that suzuki has had that kawi 14 in there crosshairs thats why they pulled the plug on the release in 07 and just made color changes. They knew the one they were going to release as the new busa couldnt compete. Remember kawi did nothing more with that 14 than to catch 8 year old engineering by a nose! my 2cents |

first born, you don't know what you are talking about! Suz. hasn't released any info. what so ever. Even on suz.hayabusa.org . WE will ALL know by the end of June. |

The new busa won't beat the 14 in performance. And if it does, it will only be by <5hp (which isn't much when your talking 200+ at the crank and 175+ at the wheel) and probably .1 or .2 at the 1/4 mile track. So all races will come down to the rider. The better way to judge the performanc would be how well the new busa makes HP with bolt on mods. Many people are dynoing into the 180's and running sub 9's in the 1/4 with bolt ons with the 14. That will be the marks that the busa will have to beat.

13 hp dyno diff??? 1400cc-1300cc all that needs done is better intake design & PC upgrades. Busa kicks the Kawa again.

I assure you that if suzuki introduces a new hayabusa it will be faster than the old busa and faster than the kawi.
I CAN'T SPEAK ON WHAT GOES ON AT THE TRACK WHERE YOU ARE FROM BUT UP HERE IN THE NORTH EAST THE BUSA IS STILL KILLING THE BIG KAW AT THE TRACK. |
We will all know on June 28, My good fried is a dealer .They are have a showing in los legas. I will be putting my order in that week. I can't wait .....

THE NEW B-KING IS THE BUSA ENGINE, ITS JUST A NAKED BIKE |
matt you are so full of shit, that would be the most stupid thing suzuki could do! |
Hey Dozer the only good thing that kawasaki ever built was the Zero fighter plane. But it seems that the jap pilots didn't like them,They used to crash them into battle ships and air craft hangers!etc, LOL.
Maybe it was just a reliability problem they just couldn't make it back to base...lol. Anyway they could'nt win the war back then and they cant win the war now! |

My outlook on the whole ZX14 vs. Hayabusa thing is... that it comes down to the looks and the printed specs which provides all that is needed to 99% of the riders when they pull up to a redlight. We all know that 99% of the riders will never utilize all the power to obtain the full potential of these "HYPER BIKES". I've had a BUSA and now have the ZX14. What the ZX14 has is a stance of a larger "Sportbike" with the specs to ward off the guys on the 600s and so forth. It's like being in a 40 something guy in a Corvette and a "RICER" pulls up with a 20 something guy - a bit of respect develops for the older guy. That's the way I see the ZX14 & Hayabusa thing. With that being said... Suzuki has to be careful with the new BUSA... is it a redlight thing or is it a larger version of the GXR1000. Because the ZX14 does look like a larger version of the ZX10...which is ok for Kawasaki... but the BUSA was totally differnt that the GXR family... it's going to be a tough nut to crack... do you appeal to the "Sportbike" crowd... or does Suzuki hold true to the old... that the Hayabusa only worries about one thing...pleasing the Hayabusa lover and hopefully making more BUSA lovers.

people don't give a shit about looks. all we want is 1500cc! if it has tons of power it'll sell like hotcakes.
Yea - no one cares about looks... then take a old junker and slap a 1500cc motor on it and buy a couple Busa decals and take it down the street and tell everyone you have a 2008 Busa.

Sidewinder i'am glad you finally see the light! |
