The busa is not ten times more anything than any bike with a motor. If a bike only did 50mph the busa would have to to 500mph at ten times faster. Maybe you should have said you are ten times more ignorant then anyone here.

I don't know what dyno that "motorcycleUSA" was using in it's 08 zx14 vs 08 busa article, but it seems to be seriously on the stingy side.they are getting 161 and 167 rwhp from these bikes when I know full well that both are north of 170rwhp respectively.Shit,my old 12R was getting 166 rwhp with a slip on pipe and a modded airbox and it was 30+ pounds lighter. If it weren't a clutch whore and an aerodynamic pig I would have kept the old girl. With varifiable reports putting the 2008 zx10r at nearly 171 rwhp and a genuine 100+ pounds lighter I think we should probably look at the liter class to crown a champion.Kawasaki and Suzuki should be ashamed of themselves for underachieving in the hyper class with 350cc more displacement to play around with. How can they say the busa and zx14 are the uber GT bikes when the 1000cc class is built new from the ground up every year yet the hyperbikes have to wait 5,6,7 years just to get a modest overhaul???

I just read the Motorcyclist article on the '08 ZX-14, and they make less hp than the first gen 14's 167hp for the '08, 175 for the 06-07 models, yet they got a better E.T for the 08 by a tenth of a second, it lso was 5 hundreths of a second quicker than the '08 Busa 9.65(14) to a 9.70(Busa), it really comes down to the rider, as I stated before both are great bikes I just prefer the Kawi.

Recently bought a 2008 Hayabusa. Great bike. Owned a 91 Kawasaki 1100. A Daytona 1200. And my wife rode a 2004 Hayabusa til we traded it for the 2008. My first Busa was a 2000, with a Muzzy sidewinder exhaust. Lots of fun! Raced my uncle in-law on that 2000, rolling on at about 40mph, for approx. the 1/4 mile. He beat me by a half a bike link. And, he taught me how to ride. Can't wait to break this 08 in and face him again. For me, it's Busa. The response. The handling. The look. Win or loose, my wife and I are Busa riders.

I like both bike, and happen to own 07 zx-14 limited, but it depends on what you want. I think the 14 is a better all around bike, and the busa gets the edge on the tight turns. If your going to argue speed lets be real, they're both going to reach 180 way too faster than most of us would care to drive! And the if thats what your looking for try out 08 ZX-10 or GSX-R 1000. Their lighter and you can kill youself much quicker on them.

Actually from a standing start, the 1000's have nothing on either the 14 or the 'Busa, both have over 100ft/lbs of tourque at the wheel, the ZX-10 makes 76, the only thing slowing the hyper bikes down is weight.
