I have a 2004 Suzuki Verona, and it is a piece of junk. It has been in the shop more than at home.
It has about 25,000 miles. It is in the shop now
for the second time for an oil leak on the head
gasket. I want something done!!! Is there anyone
else out there having problems? If Suzuki is saying
NO, we should be receiving our money back.

I have an 'o4 Suzuki Verona I purchased new Oct. 2004. I now have 57k miles on it, and have never had any mechanical problems with the car. It has been very dependable and has only been in the shop for general maintenance. The only problems I have with the car is that the finish on the trim around the back door window is chipping off, the "S" emblem on the front fell off a year ago, but was replaced by the dealer, and a fuse in the cigarette lighter had to be replaced. Other than that, I have been pleased with the car, and plan to purchase another one when they come out next year. If there are any people out there who have been please with their Suzuki Verona, I would like to hear about it, because all I see on here are negative comments, and makes me scared my car might fall apart while I am on my way home from work today.

Hi Michelle,
I have a 2005 Verona, have 30,000 miles on it, and have not had one single problem! I am very pleased and would not hesitate to buy another Verona.

Hi,Deborah.
I am unfortunate owner of the 2004 Suzuki Verona crap too. From the beginning Verona acted weird, constant problem with noisy brakes(cheap parts I assume),paint peeling off, weird shifting, parking brake not working, lost wheel hubs twice after service and lately my Verona almost stalls when waiting for light change(Iknow now, there was recall on this problem, but Suzuki Canada did not bother to inform their customers). I wonder what is going to happen next.
PS.Michelle, are You still going to buy another Verona?

I am the exasperated owner of a 2001 suzuki swift. It has 38,600 miles on it. one owner one and a half drivers. The air doesn't work. Apart was replaced while under warranty it took about 6 weeks of messing around the correct part was ordered. The air died about 6 months later. Now I am told I need a new computer instead to the tune of $1,500.00 or a reconditioned on for $700.
The radio has turned tinny. One speaker is shot. The lighter works if you have your own lighter and doesn't if you don't. I haven't seen any recalls on this model for 2001. But I have heard of this more than enough times.
