my sidecick is overheating if i remove the thremostat n run the car without it i have good flow of coolant. i have tested the thermostat by boiling it and i works every time. when i put the thremostat back in i have no coolant flow and the bottom hose remains cold. the vehicle has no symptoms of a head gasket being bad. i had no prior problems with overheating pulled the motor and placed it back in the vehicle n now i have this
