I think i have made the biggest mistake of my life parting with my hard earned cash for a Suzuki Gv 2007.
After reading alot of these forums i believe that any one who doesnt want headache after headache should just stay well clear of this manufacture. No matter what your heart or misses says STAY WELL CLEAR. I have own a number of new cars and i can honesty say that i have never been so discussed with a manufacture in all my life. There clearly is a problem right up to the top management with this company. Customerservices is shocking and they certifiy any type of garage to sell there cars mine is 3 months old and already its up for sale.(There is alot of choice of car at this price range stay safety and think before you part with your hard earned cash!!)

I have owned 2 GV and I like them a lot. Especially in safty features, They do their jobs as they promise to do. For exemple, ESP, EBD, TCS....I had previously owned a couple of name brand SUV and they are nothing to compare with GV.
If you live in MI trust me you need reliable SUV like GV. Not CR-V or RAV-4 or trailblazer piece of j---.

Im glad you brought up the safety issues because thats what i was most concerned about. i picked my GV up (Not knowing at the time) with a defective rear seat belt when it was noticed 3 weeks after, suzuki's reply was "down to wear and tear"!!!! that fact that i am a single bloke has nothing to do with it so how wear and tear came in to it i dont know. secondly i was sold at extra cost 20" wheels with the vechicle very nice shame they rub the wheel archs suzuki reply was that because they where extra to the vechicle its my problem but......i bought the entire vechicle from suzuki. this is where i question there ability to certify dealers i was sold a GV with extra wheels that are nt cleared with suzuki so as far as i am concerned safety is the main reason to stay well clear as all suzuki want is your money and they not concerned how the vechicle is sold to the public.i have spoken to suzuki customer care who just help by not actually doing anything if there is anyone from suzuki UK who can actually help me please E-mail me on mike1975@blueyonder.co.uk untill then sorry but theres never smoke with out fire :)stay away from this manufacture.

Just recieved a Safety recall for my Vitara asking me to return it because there is a potential risk that DPF(Diesel Particulate Filter)System may ignite.Does this company know anything regarding quaility control.Ive owned it for 4 months 1 month of which its been in and out of the garage.

Its a shame really that this company has so rapidly gone down hill. Prior to buying the new GV i had one for 15 years not a thing ever went wrong, that is why i say now beware of this manufacture and stay well away :(. Uk customer services is just about the worst thing of all with them.
