Cordless charging mats expected to help sagging electric car sales
One reason electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles have hit the market with a thud is that there are strings attached: Drivers of models such as the Chevrolet Volt and Nissan Leaf must plug in to recharge the battery.

There should be well tested technique by now for charging also vehicles cordless. I see charging plates built-in under the parking lot on the mall, at work and home a s o. Why doesn't anything happen? Or does it? Just big energy companies tries to sell cord charging on public establishments.
