Rubber side panels by passenger windows on 2012 x5 are pitting and degradating. Dealer says it is normal but already looks five years old. Always garaged, less than 7,000 miles. Has anyone had similar problem? Notice 2013 models now have metal rather than rubber. Would like other customer comments to show dealer, if possible. My sixth BMW and love the car otherwise. Help!
