well i had a question towards you sentra spec v owners and scion tc owners, how come you guys like to brag how you can beat an 06 si when you add, i/e/h but i dont hear any talking when it comes stock to stock, shit add those same parts to an si and then its a race (even) and then we'll see, stock to stock si will beat both those cars so with mods i think i already know the outcome. bueno yall feel free to answer.

Theres no way an SER or a TC is going to keep up with the newest Si. They are top end monsters much like most higher powered hondas. It's honda's heritage.

No bro it's true. Just read any review from Car and Driver, Motor Trend etc. The 2007 Spec V out performs the SI in both 0-60 and 1/4 mile times.

Honda does not make a car fit for a dragstrip. Those numbers mean nothing. Race an Si in top end and see what happens.

it's all about how you drive the damn car.. some ppl can make 0-60 in 6.0 seconds on a mazdaspeed3.. other's can do 5.4 seconds. So stop comparing the damn cars and enjoy what they can give you (depending on how you roll with your car).

Driving can only optimize so much performance so it's not all in how you drive the car. Show's how much you know dude. If you don't like us comparing the cars then go post somewhere else.

Okay, I have a 370 hp car and I have raced all of the above:

Scion TC = Slower than a minivan
Civic SI = Fast for stock
Sentra SER = Fast for stock
Hyundai Sonta, slower than a SemiTruck

The only way people in a TC or Hyundai say they won is because the grandma you raced didn't know they were racing... lol...

Think about it your comparing low 14 second cars to 16 or 17 second slugs.

My car runs 12's so I think i know what the hell I'm talking about.

What all do you have done to your Evo to achieve 370 hp?

Considering this is a Subaru thread, how come no one is mentioning the WRX?

I have a stage 2 bugeye with a turbo upgrade in the works... Should be a beast when I'm done. It will definitely be an Evo eater.

That's what's happening. I have a GT Legacy that I want to slap a turbo on. I had H/I/E on it but a NA 2.5L can only be tuned so much before it needs a turbo. I'm a Subaru loyalist so it's good to hear when the Impreza/REX is pitted against Civics (blah).

I think AVO offers a turbokit for the Legacy GT. You could either spend 2-4k on a kit or you could spend the same to just swap in a USDM WRX motor for cheap.

I wouldn't mind a six cylinder in my Legacy. AVO I think sell their turbo kit through SPOMotorsports. Have you seen anyone with an engine swap for a 2001 MY?

Yes I have, do a Google for a gentleman by the name of Jeremy Siwek. He is the owner of Crucial Motorsports. He has an 01 with the USDM WRX Swap. He runs a VF22 turbo and makes some damn nice power with it as well.

Sounds good. I'll check him out. I would do whatever to extend the life and fun of my Legacy. There aren't many vehicles on the market that strike me as "my next" except maybe an 08 Legacy Spec B. If my budget allows, I'm going to get as close to Blitzen/Liberty performance as possible.

The Spec B is nice. My friend has one and they are quick!
