when I press the brakes on my 2002 Subaru outback, the dashboard lights come on and there is a loud click near the shifter.

Subaru Outback 2005 heater problem:
warm air blown fine through the driver side vents, cold air is blown on the passenger side. Any advice to the hobby mechanics?

Are you talking about the floor or the dashboard vents? I can't see this happening to the floor vents as they are all part of the same plenum. It's either hot or cold. Dashboard vents are separate, maybe the attaching hose on one side is off?
