I am a multiple Subaru owner and am disappointed with the 2010 Outback
1) Bigger is not always better...looks bloated
2) Needs a manual option with the Limited model
3) No diesel option as had been rumored
4) CVT not appealing

Quite a few people feel that way. Subaru seems to be straying from their traditional demographic.

Well, if they strayed from their original demographic, then they hit ours. We just bought a '10 Outback with CVT. The major points for us were the full wagon cargo space and rear seat room for a convertible child seat. We test drove half a dozen other cars from other manufacturers and a new Forester. The Outback sealed the deal.

In case you ever check back here....what's your opinion of the CVT? I've never driven one.
