I would not save $10 a week in gasoline. It'd be more like $400 a month. Twice a month, I have to drive back and forth from where I work to where my houses are. thats 5 hours in a half ton 4x4. And yes, for the savings I would risk it. Life is a risk. If I get killed in an accident, so be it.

Toyota has one of the best safety ratings, foreign cars last longer and maintain their resale value, suv's have high centre's of gravity and tend to rollover, gas prices are going up and what good will it be to own an suv if you can't afford to drive it?
