Almost everybody's sales declined in April, even Toyota's. Another half-a$$ed reporting job.

I wouldn't mind owning a Subaru if they made a car with a little nicer interior materials and bigger than the Legacy.

I have had numerous friends who own Subarus and they have nothing but praise for them.

Subaru has good quality, but do you see any of the Tribecas on the road? No..........They are the only car to make the Edsel look beautiful!!!

I'll stay with my GM products. I've owned numerous new cars & trucks and haven't had one problem with any. I have never worked for a union and have no connection to any auto manufacturer or dealer, I just like GM products and always have.

Do you work for Subaru or something? Geez maybe you should spend more time focusing on putting together a decent car. They built and sold me a defective car and refused to take care of the problem. Yes I have a grudge! So do thousands of others who got screwed over by Subaru. Who wouldn't?
Im sure every manufacturer has a horror story. they screwed you over, you claim, and your upset. and you should be. i own a subaru wrx sti and love everything except the fuel mileage, not that i expected it to get stellar mileage.

I worked at the Subaru plant for 11 years. They don't treat their workers well but they make an awesome car. Several people I know have Subaru Outbacks with over 200,000 miles on them. I can and will testify for the quality that goes into a Subaru.

LOL That has to be the reason why any slightly imperfect Subie made it off the assembly line in Lafayette!

To the rest of the naysayers: Check the facts, Subaru is the only manufacturer to get the government's top rating in crash tests for every model it makes. If you have a Consumer Reports handy you'll also see that they recommend most of the Subaru models as top picks.

Thousand of others that got screwed over by subaru? Then every other car co. must be screwing over millions.
Consumer Reports named it the most reliable car company in last years car issue, as they had fewer problems per car than the others.
Almost 97% still on the road after 10 years, all models getting the highest safety rating, and one of the highest resale values.
Good luck finding a better product for the $

Hi,

I just leased a Subaru Forestor from Gregoris Subaru in Valley Stream NY. It has
been nothing but trouble since the second day I left the Dealer. The Dealer Owner
Rich has alreay fallen through on two verbal agreements he has made to me to fix
the Car. The Sun Roof is defected from the fatory and they already made one attempt
to fix it. Now they are trying to tell me it has to do with Aero Dynamics. The car
is having excessive Cranking and does not start correctly. The exessive cranking
is most likely killing the battery and starter, as well.I also spoke with a Supervisor
Judy that works dirctly with Subaru of America in Cherry Hill. That has got me nothing.
I advise all people Don't Buy Subau its all hype about there cars and warranties!

I need to make a big retraction here.
Turns out that Judy was a really great person and she is taking care of all my issues. I am going to put my trust in her and the dealer and hopefully become a PROUD Subaru onwer!

MY FORESTER HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE!First all the rattles then the trans slips and has to be replaced at 5,000 miles, then front end noise like a bad wheel bearing or a bent axle shaft, the car feels unstable at hwy speeds..four replacement wheel bearings and it still growls and grinds.been to two dealerships, drove the car with the area rep, that played deaf and dumb, now im off to court..Will never ever buy another subaru!!!

I have owned 10 or 15 cars and trucks in my lifetime and i have never had to replace 4 wheel bearings ever!but with my new 2007 forester piece of trash 4 were replaced within the first 13,000 miles..this problem goes back at least 7 years with subarus, consumer reports are a bunch of corp stooges as far as im concerned.

I bought a Subaru because of their great reputation for quality and their AWD. Too bad that when problems struck, they told me my car was not covered by their service bulletin and was a few thousand miles out of warranty. Even though I had the exact same problem on the same year and model of car that was covered (2002 Impreza) under WWP-99 (leaky head gasket). They don't stand behind their product in the event of a problem even when it is clearly a design flaw. I don't recommend them and won't buy another.
I feel your pain,I have a 2007 forester lemon. its the worst car i have ever owned and i have owned used cars my whole life, most with at least 80,000 miles on them when i purchased them! i will never buy another subaru either..
