Go with the Baja. They have amazing reliability, utility and performance (especially with the turbo). If you are looking to pick one up sooner than later, I know Bill Kolb Jr. Subaru in Orangeburg, NY has a few on the lot as i was there this morning. A really good friend of mine works there, his name is Dominic. He has been able to beat anyone else's pricing on Subarus for a very long time. Just tell him Mike Trevor sent you and he will make you his first priortiy.
As far as the Dakota goes, that's a full blown pickup truck with a truck chassis and large dimensions. That would be a great truck for you if you plan on doing any major off roading, hauling heavy payloads or towing. Otherwise, I would veer away from the Dakota. It's a great truck, but only if you need what it has to offer. The Ridgeline is a new to the market truck as I'm sure you know. I'm sure, being a Honda, that it's reliability is superb. As with the Dakota, it is still rather large is size, but its payload and towing capabilities aren't as good as with the Dakota. The Ridgeline has some great features, but if fuel milage, reliability and performance are of your main concern, then stick to the subie, if towing and payload capabilities are your main objective, than go towards the Dakota/Ridgeline.
